If you would like some extra responsibility, and earn some money – then become a referee. Referees can start as early as 13yrs old – become a Game Leader and referee U10 and U11 matches.

During the July School Holidays you can referee at the Kanga Cup and earn between $150 and $200. A Game Leader course is only 3 hours and you will receive a uniform.
The course is paid for by the club.

Level 4 referee training is available for anyone 14 and over and adults. You can referee age groups one year below your age. You can also be an Assistance Referee for older age groups. Assistant referees also get paid! The Level 4 referee course training is only one day, with online training for the rules.
The Club will also pay for your course.
